“Motivation comes from working on things we care about” – Sheryl Sandberg
Employment law is my passion. Working in the legal profession, I have the privileged position of helping individuals and organisations with – sometimes complicated – legal issues. I have a strong drive to find practical solutions for clients.
While I was a student, I worked at a medium-sized law firm as a receptionist and secretary. As a result, I quickly learned the ins and outs of the legal profession. I also volunteered at a legal advice centre, and did internships at both a law firm and at the Amsterdam District Court. With this experience, I have been strengthening the employment law team at Van der Steenhoven advocaten since 2018, first as a paralegal and now as a lawyer.
To relax, I love going to the beach or being on a tennis court. I also enjoy catching a good film at the cinema and am mad about watching TV series. They can be quite addictive, to the point where I watch entire seasons in more or less one go!
