The fast and dynamic world of the legal profession, in which no day is the same, that gives me energy! The fact that many issues are subject to reasonableness and fairness is what makes employment law so interesting for me. As a sparring partner I take care of clients, advising them in clear language and looking outside the box for the right solution.
During my studies I worked as a lawyer and gained relevant practical experience at various medium-sized and large law firms. This gave me a good insight into both the national and international legal profession. Through my work as a lecturer in labour law at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, I am able to explain the law in a practical way. I put this experience into practice with great enthusiasm as an employment lawyer at Van der Steenhoven advocaten.
I love to travel and I am very interested in other cultures. I try to get the most out of every trip. From safaris in South Africa, hiking and diving in Australia, travelling through Asia to skiing in Austria. Each one is an amazing experience. And in my spare time? I like to spend time with friends and family. I also enjoy watching a good movie or series or going to a concert or festival. I clear my head at the gym or take a long walk in nature.
